This report reviews the Cisco user perspective on the value of video communications.

Cisco offers three models of telepresence suites introduced since 2006, and has marketed IP video solutions for at least a decade. Cisco offers a video phone as part of the Cisco Unified Communications IP PBX offering which is OEMed from TANDBERG, and a MCU OEMed from RADvision.

Key findings:

  • Cisco users collaborate more frequently than others
  • Cisco users are willing to pay more to attend an HD video session than others in comparison to audio conferences, web conferences, same day trips, overnight trips and week-long trips
  • 2.4 x more Cisco users are very satised with their video conferencing experience than others
