This is the death of handset-specific, network-specific dual mode implementations. This is actually very good news for SIPquest, one of the few companies with dual mode client software that can integrate with SIP platforms like Cisco CallManager 5.0 (recently announced as SIP compliant) and runs on devices from a host of manufacturers.
